Here are some tips that will help you get started!

1. Read More.

Reading books from your favorite authors or from different genres will definitely help you get on the right track when you start writing your own novel! This will give you a sense of how you should evolve your writing style and while you are reading a book, you can pick out all of the good things that you like in the writing style and also any of the elements that you do not like from that writing style. And each book that you read will help you discover more and make your own writing even better!

2. Check out some blogs!

Checking out people’s blogs is also very helpful in helping you start writing your own book. These blogs are written by people who probably have experience writing on their own and can offer a wide range of tips and tricks that can help you write your own story! Reading blogs are also good to follow because you can see what other people are reading and what elements people like to read about and you can even incorporate them into your story!

3. Go outdoors.

Going outdoors is one of the best ways to get rid of all distractions and be in a peaceful place at the same time! Sometimes when you are inside, it can get a little distracting with all of the things that you might have to do, or just people being obnoxious and a little too loud when you are trying to sit down and write. Being close to nature is definitely something that will get your mind off of things and clear your mind of all things non writing related!

4. Listen to music.

Some people may think that this wont work but sometimes when you are alone and you are just jamming to some of your favorite upbeat or even sad music, it can really help you write those difficult parts of your book and make it personal and really emotional. It can help the reader be in a more relatable position and help them visualize the situation just by reading the text.
