One Star Romance by Laura Hankin

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I told you guys that I would finish this today.
Okay, I know that I am HIGHLY influenced on other peoples reviews on books before and during when I read them but I can tell you now, I am glad that I was not swayed by the reviews on this one.
I actually thoroughly enjoying reading this book. I did not think that this was a slow read at all and the storyline was engaging and kept me from putting the book down besides eating.
I also really enjoyed that the romance in this book was not raunchy at all and was genuine. I actually almost cried a few times. The only thing that made me sad was that this book was not on KU and I actually went in and annotated some quotes that made me tear up.

The Inmate by Freida McFadden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
UHHHH UHHH.
Plot twist times like 40x. If she ever makes a sequel on this and it’s about the son I will scream.
Every time that I read a Freida McFadden book, I feel like I know what is going to happen and she surprises me EVERY TIME.
At first, I was definitely against Tim 1000%, but the more that the story unraveled, the more I was I like….okay I am totally wrong here. I cannot believe that the whole side of that family is hella wacko…also Brooke is kinda gullible and stupid.
But nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this book, especially if you are getting out of a reading slump or you need a break from the romance or heavy fantasy books. That is one of my favorite genres to read when I need a clean filler book in-between big series or other genres.

Flawless by Elsie Silver

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Finally getting around to writing the full review of this.
This is my first Elsie Silver book and definitely my first cowboy romance novel.
I have a couple problems with this book. It was bad at all.. I actually had to force myself to put down this book because I would read it before work and then be EXTREMELY uncomfortable my entire shift.
The one thing that annoyed me the most was the quote “cherry lips” and how many times that it was used to describe the FMC. I do not need to be reading the same thing OVER and OVER and OVER again, but the rest of the book? RUIN. ME. PLEASE.
Also, I love me a man with longer hair, it just does things to me that are not appropriate for this website. I would recommend this book and I will 10000% be continuing this series.
